Our featured men’s knit polo is a tailored slim-fit style. It sits close to the body without feeling tight, creating a clean, modern silhouette.
The Johnny-style open collar adds a relaxed, elegant touch. It avoids the formality of traditional buttoned polos, making it ideal for both office and casual wear.
The all-over herringbone jacquard pattern gives the shirt subtle texture and depth. Contrasting white trim on the collar, cuffs, and hem elevates the design.
This style is a staple for brands in the USA, Europe, and Canada. We offer full OEM customization of fit, collar shape, and color accents.
High-Count Cotton Knit Fabric Selection

This polo uses premium high-count combed cotton or cotton-blend knit fabric. It has a soft, smooth hand feel and excellent drape.
The fabric is designed to resist pilling and maintain its shape after repeated washes. It also offers good breathability and moisture-wicking performance.
We pre-test every batch for shrinkage (≤3%) and colorfastness before production. This ensures the herringbone pattern stays consistent and the color remains vibrant.
Our factory provides custom fabric sourcing, including different yarn counts, blends, and weights to match your brand’s quality standard.
Herringbone Jacquard Knitting Precision
The all-over herringbone pattern is the core of this polo. It is created using alternating knit and purl stitches to form continuous V-shaped lines.

Our knitting machines are calibrated to maintain consistent stitch tension across the entire garment. This ensures the pattern is uniform with no dropped or skipped stitches.
We also use a specialized tension system to prevent the fabric from twisting during production. This keeps the herringbone lines straight and parallel.
For contrast trim, we use clean ribbed knit with smooth color transitions. The edge stitching is checked for evenness to avoid curling.
Johnny Collar & Contrast Trim Construction
The Johnny open collar is designed to stay in place without buttons. We use a lightweight fusible interfacing to keep the collar flat and wrinkle-resistant.
The collar band is cut on the bias for a smooth fit around the neck. We test the collar’s shape retention after 30 washes to ensure it stays crisp.
The white contrast trim on the cuffs and hem uses a ribbed knit construction. It is attached with double-needle stitching to prevent stretching and fraying.
We offer custom collar heights and trim colors to suit different brand aesthetics, from classic business to modern casual.
Pattern Engineering for Bulk Production
Every custom knit polo begins with pattern engineering. Our team analyzes the design to ensure it is production-ready.
We adjust the pattern for the knit fabric’s natural stretch. This prevents the garment from becoming too tight or loose after sewing.
We create graded size charts for S to XXL, adapting the fit for regional markets. For example, European sizes often require slightly different ease than US sizes.
The sampling process includes three rounds: prototype, fit sample, and pre-production sample. This lets you test fabric, fit, and pattern before bulk production.
Production & In-Line Quality Control

Our production process follows a structured workflow to maintain consistency.
First, we knit the fabric panels using automated machines. Then, we sew the collar, cuffs, and body in dedicated stations.
Every polo goes through three quality checks:
- Pattern consistency: Verifies the herringbone jacquard is uniform and free of defects.
- Collar and trim check: Ensures the Johnny collar and contrast trim are attached correctly.
- Final inspection: Checks stitching, measurements, and fabric condition. We also support third-party inspection by ASAHI·LINK at your request. Inspectors verify compliance with AQL standards before shipment.
