Our featured blue-red striped contrast collar long sleeve dress shirt uses a classic point collar and standard tailored fit. It balances comfort and structure, working for both business and casual occasions, making it a wardrobe staple for men.

The contrast point collar features a light blue-white fine stripe on the collar face, creating a color-block design with the main body stripe. The collar stays crisp with a moderate stand height, suitable for both tie-wearing and open-collar casual wear.

The front placket uses a single-row design with white resin buttons, ensuring easy on-off and neat stitching. A single patch pocket on the left chest adds practical storage without compromising style.

The contrast cuff design echoes the collar, enhancing the design sense and setting it apart from basic styles. The curved hem allows for tucking in or wearing loose, adapting to different styling needs.

Our factory has 18+ years of experience in men’s dress shirts, supporting full OEM/ODM customization from sampling to bulk production. We adjust fit, details and branding to match your brand’s target market needs in USA, Europe, Australia and Canada.

Premium High-Count Cotton Poplin Fabric & Craftsmanship

This shirt uses high-quality high-count cotton poplin fabric, with a fine and smooth texture, breathability and skin-friendliness. It has excellent wrinkle resistance and easy care, making it a top-tier fabric for business shirts, with good drape and no deformation after long-term wear.

We source 100s-120s two-ply cotton poplin, with a fabric weight of 130-160 GSM, balancing softness and durability. Each fabric batch undergoes strict pre-testing: shrinkage rate controlled below 3%, color fastness reaching 4+ level, to ensure the shirt maintains its shape and color after washing.

We use matching thread for all stitching, with uniform, neat seams and no loose threads, highlighting premium factory quality. The collar stand, placket and cuffs are reinforced with double overlocking, preventing deformation after long-term wear. Buttons are sewn with 4-hole reinforcement, making them hard to fall off.

We master precise stripe alignment technology, ensuring perfect pattern matching on collar, cuffs and placket, highlighting solid craftsmanship. Our factory supports custom fabric composition, weight and stripe design for bulk orders, adapting to different climate needs in USA, Canada, Europe and Australia.

Fabric Data That Matters for Dress Shirts

We work with three main fabric categories for dress shirts. Each has different performance data, based on 16+ years of shirt production experience.

First, 100% cotton. This fabric breathes well, with 3% to 5% shrinkage after the first wash. Thread count ranges from 80s to 120s for most dress shirts. Higher thread count means softer feel but more wrinkling. We suggest 100s two-ply for a good balance between softness and durability, with a fabric weight of 130 to 160 grams per square meter.

Next, cotton-poly blends. The 65% cotton and 35% polyester mix is very popular for business shirts. This blend reduces wrinkling by about 40% compared to pure cotton, with shrinkage dropping to 1% to 2%. The fabric also dries faster. Poly-cotton blends captured 42% of the global blended fabric market recently.

Then, linen and blends. Pure linen has high breathability but wrinkles very easily. We suggest linen-cotton blends (55% linen, 45% cotton) for summer shirts, reducing wrinkling by 25% while keeping the natural linen look.

As a reliable clothing factory, we offer custom fabric sourcing services, supporting component adjustment and weight customization, adapting to different brand requirements.

Stitching Standards & Quality Control

In our factory, we follow strict stitching standards that match those used by clothing factories in the USA and Europe. Here are the key numbers.

Stitch density: For a standard dress shirt, we set machines to 14 to 16 stitches per 3 centimeters on visible seams. Collar and cuff topstitching runs at 15 stitches per 3 centimeters. Hidden seams use 13 stitches per 3 centimeters, ensuring strong seams without fabric puckering.

Thread type: We use 100% polyester core-spun thread for all dress shirts. This thread has 40% higher tensile strength than cotton thread, resisting fading and shrinking. For light-colored shirts, we match thread color to fabric within one shade on the color card.

Seam allowances: All major seams use 1.2 cm allowance. Side seams get a double-stitched finish. Armhole seams use 1 cm allowance with overlock edge finishing, preventing seam raveling after multiple washes.

For this striped contrast collar style, we add extra stripe alignment checks, ensuring perfect pattern matching at all seams. This attention to detail protects your brand reputation in global markets.

Fabric Pre-Treatment & Pattern Matching

Before cutting any fabric, we run strict quality checks. We measure fabric width at three points, ensuring it stays within 1 cm of the stated measurement. We also check for color variation across the roll, flagging sections with more than 0.5 gray scale difference for separate cutting.

For striped fabrics, we implement strict pattern matching. Horizontal stripe mismatch cannot exceed 0.3 cm at seam joins. Vertical stripes must line up across the front placket, collar and cuffs. Our cutting machine operators check every tenth layer for alignment, ensuring consistency.

We also offer fabric sourcing help. If you need a specific cotton-poly blend ratio or fabric weight, we can source it from our partner mills. This service is part of our ODM offering, used by many brands from Australia and Canada to get unique fabrics without managing multiple suppliers.

Our low MOQ applies to fabric as well. You can order as few as 300 meters of custom fabric for a trial run, helping you test your shirt design in the market before committing to large quantities.

Third-Party Inspection & Global Logistics

Quality is our top priority for every shirt order. We implement a 3-layer QC system to ensure zero defects. First, in-line inspections at every production station check stitching, stripe alignment, fabric defects and fit accuracy.

Second, a final factory inspection verifies all details, including collar stiffness, button attachment, and cuff reinforcement. Only products that pass this check move forward.

Most importantly, we invite independent third-party inspection companies to conduct pre-shipment audits. These inspections follow AQL standards: 1.5 for major defects and 4.0 for minor defects, providing an objective assessment of our work.

If any issues are found, we fix them immediately before shipment. This process gives our clients complete peace of mind, knowing they receive only premium-quality products. Our defect rate remains below 0.3%, protecting your brand reputation in competitive global markets.

We work with trusted freight forwarders to offer competitive sea and air shipping rates. Sea freight takes 12-16 days to the US West Coast, 25-32 days to Europe, and 18-22 days to Australia. Air freight takes 3-5 days to North America and Europe, perfect for urgent orders. We provide real-time shipment tracking for every order, with an on-time delivery rate of 98%.
